The District has a Safety Committee that meets each quarter, or more often if needed, to discuss issues and develop plans to ensure the safety of all in our schools.  On this committee are the Police Chief, Fire Chief, Superintendent, Board Members, Administrators, Buildings and Grounds, Finance, a teacher representative, a parent organization representative, two Herkimer BOCES Safety Office representatives, and Director of Safety for the District.
