About AIS:

Math AIS (Academic Intervention Services) is a class designed to help students achieve NYS Learning Standards in Math. AIS allows students to receive additional instruction to supplement, reinforce, and provide remediation in Math. Class sizes are small allowing support to be individualized to students’ specific needs. The goal of this class is to enhance each student's understanding of material being covered in their math class. It provides students the opportunity to improve their mathematical skills and have some fun.

Course Objective: -Preview material -Review material -Reinforce basic concepts -Increase students’ confidence -Develop test taking strategies

Supplies Needed: -Pencils -Positive Attitude

Class Expectation: -Be respectful - Be responsible - Be honest - Be kind - Do your BEST!!

Grading Policy:

Students earn a grade of Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory based on their effort in the classroom.
